Schüpfheim is a town near the 'Napf' Mountain in Switzerland. In contrast to the jagged snowy 4000metre mountains elsewhere in Switzerland, the Napf and it's surrounding area has a gentler character, rolling up and down with seemingly endless folds in the land where there are new villages and farmyards to be discovered. This landscape inspired me to write this piece. It is dedicated to all the wonderful muscians in the junior band in Schüpfheim.
